Finally found the right texture

You might not think babies can have an aversion to texture but Caleb certainly does. He can take a banana mashed with a fork just fine, but try that with an avocado and he gags like he is choking. So in my mission to make him an avocado lover I finally found a recipe to whip up an avocado puree that is smooth, thick and creamy. So if you want to get your little one to try out some avocado here ya go.

Banana Avocado Mousse: inspiration from Weelicious.com

I took 2 avocados and 2 med-large bananas. Cut the avocados in half and pit. Squeeze them into the food processor. Next I peeled and sliced the bananas into 1 inch rounds. I added 2 oz of formula and reserved 2 more. Puree and add remaining formula as needed. This freezes really well and only browns slightly. Enjoy!
