So I spent the day restocking my freezer with cubes of pureed fruits and veggies for caleb. I must say it really is enjoyable and I feel a bond by doing this. I didn't do it with Aiden but my sil Kerri told me to try it, she was doing it for my niece Harper. I was nervous being a first time mom and living in an apartment I just didn't have the counter space needed to perform such a task. I am so glad I did! The picture is of organic carrots. We figured we saved about 5$ with that one. But I would do it even if we didn't save a penny. I unfortunately haven't been able to breast feed my boys. Caleb lasted the longest with 6 weeks so I feel like I missed that whole special bonding women talk about when they breatfeed their child. I think I get it now. I feel super connected to c monkey, and when he gets super excited about eating it melts my heart. And even though I know he I just excited about eating and not the care I put into making the food, I absolutely love it! Give it a try i did my research on wholesomebabyfood.com

If I ever grow up and have a baby (don't hold your breath), you'll have to teach me all about baby food making. I think it is awesome. :)
ReplyDeleteaw it's so super easy you will love it. It feels awesome when your kid grubs down the veggies you took time and effort into making!
